Initially Britishers came for trade

Gradually the claim for territory they made

The moment Siraj Ud Daula faced defeat

The resources of Bengal they began to eat

Till eighteen fifty seven

They crossed all limits of oppression

They didn't spare even peasants

So the situation became unpleasant

It was on 10 may eighteen fifty seven

Sepoys and people began to use weapon

People of each community

Fought with greater unity

Between 14 & 15 Aug it was midnight

Which ended the Britishers might

Ultimately India attained freedom

Which was/is celebrated with enthusiasm
